If you don't know me personally, you may not know that I have a pretty amazing fiancé. His name is Avel and he is a top notch guy! Just one of the MANY awesome things he does is cycling. He's been a cyclist almost his entire life. He rides some seriously long rides...just for fun! I can't even imagine how hard that is, but he loves it and it keeps him healthy & sane. He's even recently introduced his son to the sport, and riding together makes him extremely happy. It's great to see them bonding over this.
In November Avel will be taking his love of cycling and using it to raise money for others. He will be participating in the Smart Ride (Southern Most AIDS/HIV Ride). It is a 165 mile ride from Miami to Key West. The event raises money that will be given to AIDS Service Organizations and directed to prevention, education and direct services.
