I got a little carried away!

So, there I was, at the craft store, picking up a few tiny items
for my first week of Indie Business School.
We received our supply list and I was just going to go in and grab a "few" things. I left with two very large bags and almost had a heart attack when the lady at
the register told me the total! oh snap! Having never been one for scrapbooking I never went down that isle at all.
Oh man! I have been missing out!!
I swear I was actually salivating!
The papers, the embellishments....oh man oh man.
The list said to purchase 5-7 pieces of paper, I bought like 20!!
Have you seen all those cute designs they come in?!!?
I even met a lady in the scrap book isle. Her hands were loaded
with supplies and she looked a little frazzled.
She proceeded to tell me that she had just started with this hobby
and she could not get enough. If I wasn't in a craft store I might have
mistaken her agitation/excitement as a sign that she was a crack head.
But no...just a scrapbooker! hahaha!

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I had much the same experience when I was shopping for supplies for the indie business project! I've never scrap-booked. The cashier asked me if I was taking it up. I felt embarrassed and said "no" I was using them for something else!

That sounds just like me!! I have a hard time going in and just getting a few things. I usually end up with a ridiculous cart load of stuff! :)

hello classmate!

oh yes, craft stores are dangerous for me. i'm not a scrapbooker but i get completely kooky in the sticker and embellishment sections.
