What I Wore: Mint and Stripes

I've been having one of those weeks where I don't have anything to wear.
It's been a long time since I've actually shopped for myself. Lack of extra fundage, not happy with my weight, etc.
This past Saturday night, I just wanted to feel slightly more stylish than I normally feel, for a date out with my fella.
So I looked through my closet to see what I had that I haven't worn in ages. I noticed the mint colored jeans I bought awhile ago and thought..."What can I wear with those?"
Then, I went on Pinterest and searched for ideas!
I put "mint jeans" into the search bar and saw a TON of options! I loved THIS one and THIS one.

So, I looked through what I had and came up with this:

I've never done a "What I Wore" post before. I am certainly not a model, by any way shape or form AND my 13 year took these pics in like, 1 minute. So, yeah, they're not that great, but I felt cute in my outfit <3 It felt really nautical and I was totally wishing I had some sort of jewelry piece with an anchor on it!

The mister and I had a lovely dinner that included tasty Summer Ale and fried pickles as well as other yummy stuff, from the place we had our first date, nearly three years ago!

It turned out to be a great Saturday night!

Everything in this outfit is super old, but if you'd like to know where I purchased them, here you go:

Cute outfit! I love that you took inspiration from Pinterest. I used to read blogs pretty regularly and got lots of ideas from them. Recently I've been looking at ModCloth's Style Gallery a lot & it's definitely provided inspiration a few times.

Cute and stylish outfit! You did a great job of coordinating with your mint jeans (which are so 'in' this season).
