The Threadcake is done!

First Batch of homemade fondant - For my Threadcake!!

I made my first batch of homemade fondant today, using Chelly's recommended recipe!
Day one of my threadcake...done! woot!

She told me about this,

But I actually used this.

Step one: put on your awesome Cake is Awesome, awesome t-shirt that is awesome! werd.




Step 2. Prepare the marshmallows for your fondant.



Step 3: Melt your marshmallows in the microwave

Step 4: add a TON of powdered sugar to your melted concoction!!



Step 5: Mix!!




Step 6: ummm, yeah...your concoction will be a tad sticky @ this stage!




don't forget to taste your product! nom nom noms!



The kid helped too!




Try not to drop powdered sugar on your dog...



When you're done, it should look like this!




We put our tasty & delicious homemade fondant in the fridge overnight, and tomorrow we will make our threadcake!! woot!!
